Snack Shop

Date with Dr. Chocolate

Giddy as a school girl. Want to know why?
I had dinner with Dr. Chocolate this evening. And better than just dinner, we sat and talked. For two. Whole. Hours. It was one of the most refreshing nights I’ve ever had. I laughed myself sick. I heard some amazing stories. We discussed movies, tv, books, preachers…

I skipped out of the Snack Shop floating on sunshine.
Seriously, people, if I ever start dating I am going to be the cheapest date in town. Talk to me and buy me take-out, and I am a happy camper. What else does one need in life?
Okay. Water probably helps, too.

Tonight, I steal the beloved Unicorn’s Mac to do my bidding. Although, I really am struggling to concentrate or pinpoint what needs to be done. Oh, well.

On the upside, I’m basically ready for everything: my homework, family coming, play this week…*WARNING* *SHAMELESS PLUG*

Okay.
I think that’s all I have for today.
Goodnight, everyone.

Beasts in our Midst

I still have Ethics to read, so I will keep this short and simple. Also because sinus meds are still happening so clarity of thought is virtually nil.

Blood donation. It happened.
Pepper and Fun Size were total beasts even though they were terrified, this was their first time and I was separated from them. I have never been so proud.

Dinner at Papa Johns.

Oh. Which reminds me: I ate in the Snack Shop for lunch today because I had been craving sushi. And after I bought the sushi, I realized that…I also desperately wanted French fries. So I ate French fries and sushi. Because that makes sense.

Backtracking momentarily: Twigg ran in her first cross-country race Friday. It was a 5k. And her time was 26:10.
Because we have yet another beast in our midst.

My girls rock. And I love them.

No Little Women

WELL, the director decided not to use my prodigious talent. All I can say is that it is their loss. I will admit that I was completely crushed and gave myself over to grief with wild abandon after reading the rejection email at work.
Alright, so enough hyperbole: I was disappointed, but now I am fine and I also can’t wait to see the musical. Because really, I just love theatre.

I made it through all my classes without falling asleep, got a good bit of work accomplished (including calling out on my phone!), ate dinner in the Snack Shop with Twigg, and was in my pajamas by 7. Don’t judge me.
And now I’m reading homework leisurely in bed, waiting until I am allowed to go to sleep.

Have a wonderful evening, everyone.
