Inverse Relationship

My mood and day started out rather rough, but got increasingly better as the day wore on.
Inversely, the weather took a plummeting and dramatic turn for the worse.

Exhaustion and some personal conflicts were my personal battlefield this morning as the weather was a calm, but chill 38 degrees.

Chapel was excellent. They are really setting a record this week. The weather was staying the same.

Afternoon classes. I woke up, ate a protein bar that I affectionately nicknamed “lunch”, took a test I had no idea how to study for and got to go to work. Even though I’m starving at this point, my day is looking up. The temperature has plummeted, and the wind is utterly obnoxious.

There is a donut awaiting me at work, and an email telling me that I did not fail the test I hadn’t studied for. I rejoiced over the grade I received even though it isn’t my favorite letter to receive. It had started to rain.

I got to eat dinner with Twigg and Citizen Kane and another friend, and it was light, jovial, interesting and brief. I also ate enough food to kill an army. There is now nearly freezing rain pelting the campus, and the wind is trying to act like a hurricane. I think Antarctica is warmer than this.

Headed back to the room, forgot about the study group I was supposed to lead, but since the midterm was yesterday, I highly doubt anybody cared. I took a two hour nap. I have not had any recent, personal exposure to the weather BUT it is allegedly even nastier now, and they are calling for some sort of an ice storm over night. I took a two hour nap.

But it is supposed to get up to 70 on Saturday. If there can be hope that my moods continues to improve, there is surely hope for the weather.
